Daniel R. “Danny” Long, age 75 of Inverness, FL passed away at home on July 8, 2026. A native of Jacksonville, FL, he was born June 26, 1951 to the late John D. and Vernon Burrows Long. He moved to this area from Ruskin, FL. He was employed in the construction industry.
His memory will be cherished by his wife of 55 years, Rosa Johnson Long; 1 Son, Richard of Inverness; 1 brother, James Long and 1 grandchild. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, John, David, and Mark. At Danny’s request, there are no services planned. Private cremation arrangements are with Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory
