Rose Marie Cliche, age 83, died at Compass Rose of Lecanto under the care of Vitas Hospice on March 11, 2026. Born is Brattleboro, VT, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Marion (Wojchick) Cliche.
Rose arrived in Orlando, FL from Chicopee, MA in 1978, where she started working as a cashier at K-Mart. Rose put in a lot of time and dedication, and eventually worked her way up to office manager. She retired and moved to Floral City in 2010. She loved crafting including sewing, embroidery, and woodworking. She was an avid reader; loved her Kindle and cookbooks. She also enjoyed the many family cruises taken over the years.
In addition to her parents, Rose was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Ann Cliche-Casey; and her nephews, Rory William Casey and Conor James Casey.
Left to cherish her memory are her nieces Sharon R. Casey and her husband Sam Bass of Dunnellon and Erika Cowles-West and her husband Kalih West of Columbus, Ohio; and her best friend, Arlene Recca, who she met in Winter Garden when they both started working for K-Mart. Rose was the “Adopted Aunt” of Roy and Peggy Moore Bass children and grandchildren.
Arrangements are private under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory.
