Georgianna D. Rocke “Georgie”, 84 of Inverness passed away on March 9, 2026 at Citrus Health and Rehab, under the loving care of her family and Vitas Hospice. Born in Becket, MA on April 12, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Richard P. and Esther B. (Harris) Locke. On September 28, 1957 Georgie married her husband, Christopher L. Rocke.
Chris and Georgie owned and operated Otis Service Center and Red’s Home Supply in Otis, MA before retiring to Citrus County in the late 80’s. A dog lover, Georgie owned and loved many dogs in her lifetime. Her current canine companion, Bentley, often spent his days with her at Citrus Health and Rehab bringing peace and happiness to his mom, as well as many of the other residents and employees.
Left to cherish her memory are her children: Debbie E. Rocke of Inverness; Christopher C. Rocke of Hernando and Donald H. Rocke of Otis, MA; and her brother Leon Locke and wife Valida of Floral City. She also is survived by her 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
In addition to her parents, Georgie was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher L. Rocke and her son, Dennis P. Rocke. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
