Barbara L. Timpone, 70, of Inverness, FL passed away Sunday, February 15, 2026 at HCA Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. She was born in Freeport, NY on June 4, 1955 to the late William J. and Rose (Tedesco) Lebeck. Barbara was a Citrus County Property Appraiser and arrived in this area in 1985, coming from Long Island, NY. She was Catholic by faith, and enjoyed baking, taking vacations and motorcycle rides, and spending time with family and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by one brother, John Lebeck. She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Joseph Timpone. Other survivors include her children Joseph W. (Kelly) Timpone of New Smyrna, FL and Dawn (Nathan) Gaskins of Inverness; brothers Bill and Bob Lebeck; and 4 grandchildren, Nathan, Avery, Ayden, and Denver.
