Catherine A. Staples

Catherine Alberta Robb Lamming Staples passed away peacefully October 4, 2025 at the age of 93. She was born January 23, 1932 in Morton, New York to Edgar H. and Nina A. (Hughes) Robb. Catherine and her first husband Freeland Lamming raised their 3 children in Kendall, NY. Catherine remarried to Myron Staples and retired from General Electric. They traveled the country in their motor home before settling in Citrus County Florida more than 40 years ago. Catherine loved baking, playing the organ and steel guitar. In recent years, she enjoyed going to Key Elder Care as part of her daily routine, and looked forward to visits from her great-great-granddaughters. Catherine tried to outlive us all, however she is survived by her children; Betty Ann Lamming, Diane McFadden, and Arthur Lamming, her brother Frank Robb, 6 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and 14 great-great grandchildren. Private arrangements are in the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Cremation Care, Inverness.
