Jeanette Underwood

Jeanette Underwood, 88, of Dunnellon, FL died at HCA Ocala on September 2, 2025 as a result of a car accident . The daughter of the late Horace Grady and Laura Virginia (Henry) Honeycutt, she was born May 18, 1937 in Waynesville, NC.

Jeanette made her home Dunnellon, FL in 1994. She and her late husband, Stanley who died in 2000, moved from Homestead, FL. Before retiring, she had a hospital career as a ward secretary.

Left to cherish her memory are her children; Grady (Barbara) Underwood of Dunnellon; Deborah (Harry) Price of Lewisville, NC; and Gary Underwood; and her four grandchildren.

Funeral services for Jeanette will take place at the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home on Monday, September 8^th, 1:00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Jerry Davis of Lake Rousseau Baptist Church. The family will receive visitors starting at 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial at Fero Memorial Gardens in Beverly Hills, FL will follow at the conclusion of the service.
