Elvin Miller

Elvin Miller, 79, of Homosassa, FL passed away Friday, August 22, 2025 at HCA Citrus Hospital in Inverness, FL. He was born in Richmond, IN on March 2, 1946 to the late Tyler and Martha (Brown) Miller. Elvin was a machine repairman for Ford Motor Company for 27 years. He arrived in this area in 2007, coming from New Paris, OH, and attended First Christian Church in Homosassa Springs, FL. Elvin enjoyed computer games, and worked for Crime Watch. He was preceded in death by one daughter, Angela Lynn Miller, and sister Rosalie Miller. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jennifer Sue Miller. Other survivors include his children Nathan (Beth) Miller of New Paris, OH, and Danielle Renee (David) Rudicil of Richmond, IN; brothers Gay Wallace, Avon, Johnny, and Henry Miller; sisters Joyce Elaine Napier and Ida Marie Shaffer, and Aline Cathrine Dees; 5 grandchildren Hunter Miller (Harley West), Madison Miller, Evan Miller (Ashley Gardner), Hannah Rudicil, Emma Rudiciland; 4 great grandchildren Maybelle Miller, Braiden Jr, River Board, Evelyn Miller

 A Celebration of Life Funeral Service for Elvin will be held at First Christian Church Homosassa Springs on Friday, August 29, at 2:00 PM. The family will be receiving friends at the church one hour prior to service. Additional services occur in New Paris OH, and burial will take place in New Paris at a later date. Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL is assisting the family with arrangements.

    Elvin was very dear to me. He helped me grow my precious Christian faith through friendship, church leadership, and with Bible study at his home.. Elvin loved God and spreading the word to what he lovingly called his flock. While I will miss him, I know I am a better person because I knew him as my friend and brother in Christ.
