It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rose Burrgess, a woman whose life was a testament to kindness and resilience. Rose, age 78, passed away on April 20th 2025, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born in Chicago, Illinois on May 6th, 1946. Rose was known for her open arms, spunk, warm smile, infectious laughter and unwavering spirit. She leaves behind a legacy of love and compassion. She is deeply missed by her daughter Cynthia Dotson (Husband Brent Dotson), Grandchildren, Kahla Pruitt (Dodi Pruitt), Richard Taylor (Jillian Taylor), Amber Valencia (Devan Valencia), Stephanie Casey (Joseph Casey), Shannon Toland (Craig Toland), Kimberly Leggett (Roger Leggett), Brian Wool, Jessie Wool, Tiffany Ball (Billy Ball) and 16 great grandchildren.
Memorial Gathering to be held on Sunday April 27th, from 2 – 4 PM,at Charles E Davis Funeral Home 3075 S Florida Ave Inverness Florida, 34450. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Rose Burrgess’s memory to the Casa Women’s Abuse Shelter, CASA PO Box 205 Inverness, FL 34451.
