It is with a heavy heart and profound sorrow that we share the news of the unexpected passing of Robert P. Lanzarone “Bob”, on April 19, 2025. Bob was a dedicated, devoted, and beloved Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle, and Friend.
On April 22, 1956, Bob was born to Philip and Evelyn (Semar) Lanzarone in Brooklyn, NY. Raised on Long Island in Bay Shore, NY, Bob married his high school sweetheart, Mary (Cruz) Lanzarone, and later moved to Beverly Hills, FL. To say he was hardworking would be an understatement! Bob worked in his family business in both NY and in FL, then later pursued his own business with his son, Bob Jr. Bob was a man of great humor and wisdom (which he graciously passed on to his children and grandchildren)), and always put his family first. He found his enjoyment in life by spending time with the people he loved, taking his dogs on walks every day, and was an avid motorcycle and race car enthusiast. Bob shared his passion and interest for all things mechanical with his children and grandchildren.
Bob was preceded in death by his Parents, Philip and Evelyn (semar) Lanzarone, Sister Janis Lanzarone, Brother Gary Lanzarone, Father and Mother-in-law Emilio and Nadia Cruz.
Bob is survived by his wife of 47 years, Mary; his children Jennifer (Steven) Jamieson, Robert Lanzarone, Jr., and his nephew Vincent (Shelby) Lanzarone whom he considered a son. Loving Papa of Michael, Lincoln, Isaac, Livianna, and Lydia. Cherished brother of Steven (Lucy) Lanzarone, Susan (Jose) Cruz, Thomas (Carolyn) Lanzarone, Edward (Denise) Lanzarone, and James (Jacqueline). Also left to share in his memory are many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
A Celebration of life will take place at The First Lutheran Church in Inverness, FL
(1900 FL-44 Inverness, FL 34452) on Wednesday April 30th, 2025, at 1p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations appreciated in his memory to the American Heart Association. Cremation arrangements under the direction of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory

Bob was always such a kind humorous man. My heart breaks for his family and offer my continued prayers, hugs and love.
Mary. I am sorry for your loss. I did not know Bobby well but I know he had a special spot in my mom’s (Aunt Virginia’s) heart. I know he was hard working and a great family man. Again I am sorry for your loss.
Bob was such a wonderful man. He always was smiling and laughing and never complaining about anything. He was just an all around good guy. He was a great brother in law and friend. He will be missed very much by all who loved him. What a wonderful person to know in this life and such a blessing that he is now reunited in heaven with those he loved that went before him. God bless the Lanzarone family in this time of loss. We love you.
such a lovely man. We will miss him. God bless his loving wife and family.
Bob has worked on our gate for years. we’ve watch him work in rain and thunder and lightening to get the job done. he was a man of few words but someone who was dedicated and so very knowledgeable of his profession. Our condolences to Mary and his family. I know he will be missed greatly, not only by his family but with his friends and his customers! Rest in peace Bob and thank you for all the great service you provided us thru the years!
Dear Mary and Bob, Jr.,
I was deeply saddened to hear of Bob’s passing. He was truly a special person — talented, thoughtful, and dedicated to his craft. Over the years, he, along with you, built a reputation for exceptional service and specialized solutions in the commercial and residential electric opener industry.
I had the privilege of working closely with Bob on several projects, where his ingenuity and commitment to solving complex challenges made a real and lasting difference. His designs for special applications and his advice helped us overcome many hurdles, and his efforts were always marked by professionalism, care, and excellence.
Bob will be missed, not only for his talents but for the wonderful person he was. Please accept my deepest sympathy during this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
With heartfelt condolences,
Russ Wunderlich, Wunderlich Doors, Inc.
