Theresa Rose Broska, age 86 of Ocala, FL passed away April 7, 2025 at Haven Hospice in Gainesville. Mrs. Broska was born in Jersey City, NJ on January 24, 1939 to the late John and Rose (Longo) Scheid. She came to this area in 1979 from Buffalo, NY.
She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima parish in Inverness and worked as an Administrative Assistant and Secretary for the Citrus County Sheriff’s Department before she retired.
Left to cherish her memory are two children, Jonathan S. Broska of Gainesville, FL and William F. Broska, III of Tampa, FL. She also leaves her sister, Joan Sabol of California and her grandchild, Caitlin Broska. She was preceded in death by her late husband William F. “Bill” Broska, Jr on October 20, 2008 and 3 brothers, Lawrence, Charles, and John Scheid.
Funeral services are scheduled for Thursday, April 24th at 11:00 AM from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Fr. Mike Suszynski, pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 10:00 until the hour of service.
