David Harold Rissmiller

David Harold Rissmiller, of Inverness, passed away with his loving wife present at The Willows in Oxford, FL on Sunday, April 6, 2025. He was 79. David was born in Audubon, NJ to Harold D. and Mildred E. (LeClare) Rissmiller. He served his country in the United States Army, in the First Infantry Division. David was an airline mechanic for many years with United Airlines, until retirement. He moved to Citrus County in December 2012, and became an active member of the First Baptist Church of Inverness. David enjoyed biking, running, hotrods and classic cars, and history. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife Judy K. Bishop of Inverness; his children Rebecca Fero of Cape Coral, FL, Pam Dinwiddie of Bedford, VA, and Dave H. Rissmiller, Jr. of Bedford, PA, and step-child Linda R. Christensen-Anderton of Zephyrhills, FL; his brother and sister-in-law Ronald and Diane Rissmiller of Portland, OR; 13 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.

There will be a Memorial Service with Military Honors at Florida National Cemetery on   Monday, April 21, 2025, at 11:00 am.  Family and friends will be meeting at the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home and Crematory, 3075 S. Florida Avenue, Inverness, FL 34450, for a 10:00 am departure sharp.
