Warren Williams obtained his undergraduate degree at Loyola University of Los Angeles in 1974. He went on to earn his Graduate Degree as an M.D. from Autonomous University of Guadalajara in Mexico (1980). His career as a medical student continued at the State University of New York where he completed his post Graduate Work and his Fifth Pathway (1981-82).
He also served as a Post Graduate Resident and accepted a Chief Residency at the State University of Buffalo (1984-85). Dr. Williams became a Board Certified Licensed Psychiatrist (1982)
During his career, Dr. Williams distinguished himself as an expert in his field through his work as a guest lecturer, an author of numerous professional articles, his affiliation with numerous clinics and hospitals and as an expert witness in city and county court cases as needed. He possessed a brilliant mind, a quick wit and demonstrated his giftedness as a Psychiatrist who literally saved the lives of family members and patients in his practice.
Warren is survived by his devoted wife of 21 years, Dr. Connie J. Williams of Hernando; his step-sons, Jason Badger of Charlotte, NC, Colin Lasch (Meredith) of Gainesville, FL, and Ian Lasch (Loren) of Savannah, GA; his sister, Mary Lou Hayden; his brothers, Ford Williams (Susan) and Malcolm Williams (Clarine); and four step-grandchildren, whom he absolutely adored.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Inverness First United Methodist Church 1140 E Turner Camp Rd, Inverness, FL 34453 on Saturday, April 26th at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive visitors at church one hour prior to the service.
