Robin Gayle Kartune, age 63, Homosassa, FL passed away June 6, 2023 at home. Robin was born in Cleveland, OH on February 20, 1960 to the late Charles and Helen (Carter) Kartune. She was the wife of Michael Preston who passed away January 26, 2013.
Robin’s favorite color was purple, and she loved Hummingbirds. Also, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and playing cards.
Left to cherish her memory are 3 children: Scott Kartune (Frances) of Beverly Hills; Michael Preston of Floral City; and Aaron Preston (Alicia) of Lecanto, FL; 2 brothers: John C. Kartune of Cleveland, OH; Ronald A. Kartune (Lilo) of Homosassa; 4 sisters: Linda Settelen of Astabula, OH; Shelly Gargano, Bronson, FL; Dona Beck of Perryville, MO; and Cathy Church of Floral City; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by a brother, Stephen Kartune.
Graveside services will be conducted on Friday, June 16th at 1:30 PM from Florida National Cemetery with Pastor Sandrew Wright officiating. The procession will leave for the cemetery at 12:30 PM. Following the graveside service, there will be a Celebration of Life at the Floral City Park. The Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home With Crematory is assisting the family.
