Michelle A. Ferrara, 47, of Hernando, FL passed away on March 21, 2022. She was born in West Islip, NY on August 24, 1974 to the late Robert V. and Cheryl (Dousa) Slavik.
Michelle arrived in Citrus County coming from Lindenhurst, New York in 1979. She attended Citrus High School, and worked at various businesses until she found her passion as a personnel analyst for Citrus County Schools, where she has forged many cherished friendships.
Michelle’s number one compassion above everything else was seeing her “218-Month-Old Baby” grow into an amazing person. Olivia holds her mother’s spirit for making others smile. On Sundays Michelle is either cheering for NASCAR’S Martin Truex or the now Las Vegas Raiders. During the week, she would be sporting a Met’s rally cap and her enthusiasm for sports was unmatched. Saturdays was Florida Gator Football, and the occasional Florida Seminoles, to keep friendships alive.
She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church in Inverness, FL. Everyone knows, Michelle loved to shop, either in person or on-line. Tory Burch may have lost their most lucrative customer for shoes and purses. Her excitement for holiday decorating was unfathomable, as one holiday closed on midnight, she was already getting ready for the next.
Her delight was giving, and constantly filling her gift closet was an everyday task, she was prepared for everything, having gifts lined up for all her friends. Michelle loved everyone, from all walks of life and she constantly enjoyed entertaining all of them, and knew who to invite and when to invite them. She had incredible luck in life and going to the casino with her husband and friends gave her true joy.
She is survived by her loving husband, Justin Ferrara and her daughter Olivia Croft of Hernando, FL. She is also survived by her brother Michael Kerrivan and his wife Joy of Myakka City, FL; her sisters Donna Fletcher and her husband Lance of Crystal River, FL, Christine Hibbard and her husband Ricky of Floral City, FL, and Karen Boersma of Ocala, FL. as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life for Michelle is scheduled for Monday, March 28, 3:00 P.M visitation, 4:00 P.M. service at Cornerstone Baptist Church in Inverness. Special thanks to Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness for their support during this difficult time.
