Violet Catherine Pearl Davy, 101, of Dunnellon, FL passed away on January 27, 2021 in Homosassa, FL. She was born to the late John and Stella (Davis) Pontiere on September 2, 1919 in Penn’s Grove, NJ. She married Charles Alton Davy and soon thereafter became a homemaker. Violet made Citrus County her home after moving from St. Pete, FL. She was preceded in death by John and Jack Pontiere, her two brothers. Those left to cherish her memory are her daughter, Dava McGahee, her five grandchildren, and her one great-grandchild. Arrangements for Violet are private and Cremation with Care is under the direction of the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, FL.

I’m saddened to find Vi has passed away. She and Charlie were delightful family friends and we spend a lot of time together at my grandfathers property in Old Town, FL. Rest in heaven, Vi.
