Charlotte B Weiser

Charlotte B. Weiser, age 89, of Inverness, FL passed away Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto. Charlotte was born on November 1, 1927 in Gassaway, W.V. to the late Elzie and Gertrude (McElwain) Ritchey. She attended Gassaway High School and was Valedictorian of her graduating class and a scholarship recipient. Charlotte was previously married to James C. Bryner and later married E. George Deffenbaugh in 1968. George passed away in 1983. Charlotte then married Earl Weiser in 1989, with whom she remained married until his passing in 1998. She owned and operated Chardy’s Restaurant in Wooster, OH for several years and then made Citrus County, FL her home 10 years ago after relocating from Macon, GA with her daughter and son in law. In her spare time, she enjoyed cooking, reading and sewing. Charlotte was an extremely talented seamstress who regularly made clothes for her family and friends. Charlotte is survived by her daughter Terri Eaton and her husband Jerry of Inverness, FL. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by 3 sisters. Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL.
