Kendra “Kim” J. Huffman, age 65, of Floral City, FL passed away Monday, May 15, 2017 while under the care of Hospice of Citrus and the Nature Coast, Lecanto, FL. Kim was born on May 2, 1952 in Mansfield, OH to the late Roy Atley and Clarabell (Neighbors) Huffman. Throughout her professional career, she had worked as a cook and as a heavy equipment operator in road construction. Kim made Citrus County, FL her home in 1984 after moving from Mansfield, OH and enjoyed, fishing, boating and going to flea markets in her spare time.
Kim is survived by her children: Kimberly Hayward and Roy Thompson, both of Floral City, FL and Robert Thompson and John Conn, both of Mansfield, OH; sister, Ellen Sutter of North Carolina; and a great many grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition to her parent’s, Kim was preceded in death by two sisters, Sandra Huffman and Mary Ellison. Private cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Chas E.
