Carol K. Hawkins

Carol Kathleen Hawkins, 87, previously of Inverness, FL passed away January 1, 2017 at Serenades at the Villages in The Villages, FL. She was born in Buffalo, NY on July 22, 1929 to the late Robert and Lillian (Gropp) Dobler. Carol was a homemaker, and arrived in this area in 1982, coming from Indonesia. She was a Protestant by faith, and enjoyed shopping, swimming, and taking care of her home. She was preceded in death by her husband Earl H. Hawkins in 2003, her son Paul F. Hawkins in 1993, and a brother, Robert Dobler in 2016. She is survived by her brother Charles Dobler of Denver, CO. Carol’s urn will be interred at White Chapel Memorial Park in Amherst, NY at a later date. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
