Bob was Chief Deputy at the department where I worked, he took over when Sheriff Wessler passed away and was re- elected for a second term. He was known as The Grouchy Bear and we all loved him for his unwavering loyalty to his employees no matter the mood he was in. He. Hewed me out one day then 10 minutes later punched me on the arm and said” We’re going to lunch, you’re driving and I’m buying.” The man never held a grudge for an honest mistake. He was old school, and we need more of that now. Donna is with you now, probably fussing at you. Fair winds and following seas Boss
