JoAnn Drummond, age 75, Floral City, went home to be with the Lord and to be reunited with her late daughter, Theresa Jo, on April 4, 2015. JoAnn was born on Sept 28, 1939 in Georgia to the late Lon and Willie May (Hays) Pope. She was a loving and beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her passion in life was spending time with family and utilizing her home grown Southern cooking skills. She could often be found retreated to the back porch overlooking the lake, saying a little prayer. She was blessed with a green thumb and enjoyed creating a peaceful and colorful landscape to congregate in as well as spending time fishing, often with a cane pole with her children and grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 57 years, Dan Drummond; her son Daniel and his wife Gini; her daughter Elicia and her husband Gary; her daughter Daneen and husband Phil, and daughter Rebecca; her grandchildren, Zeb and his wife, Crystal; Philip annd his wife Amanda,; Zachary and his wife, Rachel; Barisha and her husband Steven; Todd Kuhl and Brad Kuhl, and her great-grandchildren, Landry, Logan, Kyler, Austyn, Raegan, Aleena, Reece, Harmon, Haley-Jane, Alissa, and Riley and many other cherished family members.

A Service of Remembrance for our precious matriach will be held Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 11:00 AM from the Chas E Davis Funeral Home with Pastor David Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Hills of Rest Cemetery, Floral City. The family invites friends to join them in visitation from 10:00 AM until the hour of service.
