Catherine A Zajac

Catherine A. Zajac, 75, of Inverness, Florida passed away January 2, 2015 at her residence in Inverness. She was born in Syracuse, New York on August 22, 1939 to the late Earl and Gertrude (O’Keefe) Murphy. Catherine was a data processor for the insurance industry, and arrived in this area in 2005, coming from Port Richey, Florida. She was a Catholic by faith, and attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church in Inverness; and enjoyed sailing and the outdoors. Catherine was preceded in death by siblings John and Monica. She is survived by her loving husband of 52 years, Rodney Zajac, Sr. Other survivors include children Rodney Zajac, Jr. of Syracuse, New York, Daniel (Dee) Zajac, of Ithica, New York, Steven (Rhonda) Zajac of Lafayette, New York, and Mary (John) Adams of Inverness; brothers Peter, Patrick, and Michael Murphy; sister Sheila Wahl; and 9 grandchildren. Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness.
