Evelyn Richardson, 74, Citrus Springs, died at home on July 18, 2013. A Hernando, Florida native, she was born Nov 24, 1938 to the late Larry and Rhubell (Smith) Tribble, Sr. She was an elementary school teacher, having taught in Citrus and Collier County schools as well as in Virginia. She was a member of the Mt. Zion AME Church where she served as church secretary and stewardess. Her passion was teaching her children, both in the church and the public school system.
Left to mourn her loss is her son, Eddrick Richardson of Hernando; two brothers and one sister, Larry Tribble, Jr of Pine Ridge, James Tribble of Naples, FL and Alice Hayes of Gainesville, FL; one grandson, Jayden Richardson. She was preceded in death by her brother and sister, Ernest Tribble and Evalyn Tribble.
Evelyn will be honored at a Celebration of Life on Friday, July 26th at 11:00 AM from Cornerstone Baptist Church, 1100 West Highland Blvd., Inverness, FL. The Rev Robert Simmons and others will officiate. Burial in Hernando Community Cemetery. Viewing will be on Thursday from 4-6 PM at Chas E Davis Funeral Home.
