Jean M. Miller

Jean Marie Miller, age 85, Beverly Hills, died June 6, 2013 surrounded by her family and under the loving care of Hospice of Citrus County. Jean was born on August 11, 1927 in Norwich, NY to the late Henry V. and Jessie (Wilkes) Ryan. She was employed as a stitcher in a shoe factory. Jean relocated to this area in 1973. She was a member of the Floral City United Methodist Church and a lifetime member of VFW 4252 Auxillary in Hernando. She enjoyed playing bingo and reading. Jean crafted many beautiful crochet pieces which are treasured by her family and friends. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Richard M. Thorpe, Jr. (Patricia), Norwich, NY; daughters Linda Miner, Chaparral, NM, Vicky (Cole) Johnson, Old Town, FL, Karen (Clive) Coulson, Beverly Hills, FL, Lila (Michael) Roush, Seminole, FL, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
