Cicero Sowards

CICERO SOWARDS, age 71, Beverly Hills, died January 23, 2013 under the loving care of his family and HPH Hospice. Cicero was born on June 6, 1941 in Myra, KY to the late Evertt and Malcomgersie Sowards. He served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Cicero was employed as a welder, working for many companies, finishing his working career at Ford Motor Company with over 10 years of service. He enjoyed sports; was a NASCAR fan, loved Kentucky basketball and Alabama football and was an excellent pool player. He liked listening to blue grass music. Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 45 years Melba “Sue” Sowards, Beverly Hills, brother Tommy (Barbara) Sowards, Las Cruces, NM and sisters Mary Lou (Tom) Clinton, Melvindale, MI and Jerry K. (Charles) Ramsey, Pine Ridge, FL; five grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his two sons and a daughter. A funeral tribute to Cicero will be held on Monday, January 28, 2013 at 2:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory. The family will receive friends in visitation from 1:00 PM until the hour of service.
