DeSomma"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Debbie Sue DeSomma, 58 years, passed away suddenly at home in Inverness, September 1, 2022. She was born in Brooklyn, NY to Shirley O&#8217;Brien and the late John K. Peters. Debbie and Gerard C. DeSomma were married December 29, 1982. She was Catholic by faith and was a member of Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church, Inverness. <\/p>\n<p>Debbie was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her family meant the world to her. She had been employed as medical transcriptionist for many years until she retired. <\/p>\n<p>She was predeceased by her father John K. Peters and her brother Edward J. Peters.<\/p>\n<p>Left to cherish her memory are her husband of almost 40 years Gerard C. DeSomma, 1 son; Derek L. DeSomma and his significant other, Ashtan G. Richey, of Inverness. 2 daughters; Kristin K. Lander and her husband Mitchell T. Lander, of Floral City and Dana L. DeSomma of Norfolk, VA, her mother Shirley O&#8217;Brien, of Inverness, 1 brother Sam Peters, 2 sisters; Joanne Murphy and Elizabeth Spence, also survived by 1 granddaughter;  Navi DeSomma.<\/p>\n<p>Cremation with Care under the direction of Chas E.
