Sigitas B. “Ziggy” Jablonskis, age 78, Inverness, FL passed away May 18, 2022 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. “Ziggy” was born in Siauliai, Lithuania on June 6, 1943 to the late Bonoventuras and Aleksandra-Marija (Sirputyte) Jablonskis. He was naturalized in this country when he was 19 years old.<\/p>\n
“Ziggy” worked in the construction industry as a Certified General Contractor, both in residential and commercial projects. He was a devout Catholic and member of Our Lady of Fatima Parish as well as the Knights of Columbus Council 6391 (3rd Degree).<\/p>\n
Left to cherish his memory is his wife, Renna (Wheatley) Jablonskis; 4 children: Ian Keane Jablonskis and wife Cristina of Inverness; Keegan Maximilian Jablonskis and wife Cathy of Lecanto, Fl; Andrew Benefield and wife Jennifer of Inverness; Maurisa Applegate and husband Jeremy, Inverness; 8 grandchildren:
\nPaige, Adriana, Alan, Paul, Elias, Scarlett, Sawyer, and Liam.<\/p>\n
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM from Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church with Fr. Claudius Mganga, Celebrant. There will also be a Celebration of Life Memorial Service on Sunday, May 22, 2022 between 1:00 – 2:00 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. The service will start at 2:00 PM. Family members and friends will participate. Interment will be at a later date in Hills of Rest Cemetery.
