Gronauer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Kathryn M. Gronauer, 98, of Spring Hill, FL passed away on January 1, 2021 at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL. She was born to the late August and Ina (Haworth) Woerner on May 2, 1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana.<\/p>\n<p>She was a Secretary for The American Red Cross for many years and made Citrus County her home in 1999 after moving from Ft. Myers, FL. She enjoyed 74 beautiful years of marriage to Donald R. Gronauer before his passing on July 18, 2015. Kathryn was an avid golfer and it was one of her most loved hobbies.<\/p>\n<p>Along with her beloved husband, Donald and her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister. Those left to cherish her memory are her two children, John Gronauer (Emily Harris) of Brooksville, FL and Janice Goodwin (late Gerald) of Dunedin, FL; her four grandsons; and her six great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>A Celebration of Life for Kathryn is on Tuesday, January 19, at 2:30 PM, at the Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL. A procession to the cemetery from the funeral home will depart at 1:45 PM, friends and family are welcome to gather at the funeral home prior to the procession leaving. Kathryn will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery alongside her husband, Donald.<\/p>\n<p>Arrangements and Cremation with Care are under the direction of the Chas. E.
