Mr. Sauer was born in St. Ansgar, IA on October 12, 1921 to the late Michael Sauer and Theresa Wiesenmayer Sauer. He was a retired machine maintenance technician for Baxter International, a medical equipment manufacturer and served our country in the U.S. Army Signal Corps.<\/p>\n<p>He is survived by his two daughters, Vivian Kaczmarek of Barrington, IL and Susan Sauer, Inverness, FL; 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. His late wife, Vivian J. Sauer, died January 24, 2009.<\/p>\n<p>Private cremation care with Chas. E.
