Ronald Joseph Kuzdzal, 81, Inverness, passed away on Friday, January 26, 2018 at Arbor Trail Rehab & Nursing, in Inverness. Born on August 8, 1936 in Buffalo, NY, to the late Joseph and Nellie (Kantorski) Kuzdzal, he came to Citrus County in 2000 from Clearwater, FL. Ronald was a parishioner at Our Lady of Fatima Church and a US Army Veteran where he primarily served as a cooking instructor. Ronald played hockey in the minor leagues and was a baseball coach. He was a retired financial adviser with the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Following retirement, he enjoyed working with his flowers in his garden and was an avid Rays baseball fan. <\/p>\n
Left to cherish his memory are his daughters: Kathleen Thrumston of Inverness and Ann Marie Kuzdzal of Leesburg. 1 grandson, Tyler Joseph Thrumston. Ronald was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanne Alice (Day) Kuzdzal, and 5 brothers: Joseph, Gerald, Adelbert, Melvin and Leslie.<\/p>\n
The Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Inverness, with Fr. Claudius Mganga, Celebrant. Ronald’s urn will be placed in the columbarium at Curlew Hills Memory Gardens in Palm Harbor, FL.
