Hemmer"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>William L. Hemmer, 96, of Bushnell, FL passed away January 4, 2018 at Citrus Health &amp; Rehab in Inverness, FL. He was born in Lincoln, NJ on August 28, 1921 to the late Frank and Belle (Leggin) Hemmer. William was an owner\/operator of a cabinet shop, and a U.S. Air Force veteran of WWII.<\/p>\n<p>He arrived in this area in the 1980&#8217;s, coming from Miami, and was previously living in Floral City, FL. William was a Deacon at Indian Hill Baptist Church in Bushnell, and enjoyed traveling and taking cruises. With his wife Elva, they took a train ride across Canada , cruised through the Panama Canal, and visited Acapulco, Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>Left to mourn his passing is his loving wife of 18 years, Elva Hemmer. Other survivors include his son, John F. Hemmer and his wife Suzanne of Brooksville, FL; 2 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. William was preceded in death by his sister Marion Gavin.<\/p>\n<p>Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas. E.
