Robert “Drew” Donaldson, 53, of Summerfield, FL passed away November 1 at his residence in Summerfield. He was born on January 9, 1962 in Anaheim, CA, and arrived in this area in 1990, coming from Florissant, MO.<\/p>\n
Drew was a supervisor for a local retail book store, and was baptised and confirmed as a Lutheran. Drew was a very charitable and giving person, donating Bibles to area churches and penitentiaries.<\/p>\n
He was an avid reader, and loved watching movies and playing video games. Drew had a great sense of humor, and loved baking cookies with his granddaughter Katelynn. He was a wonderful father, step-father, grandfather, and uncle.<\/p>\n
He was preceded in death by his father Walter Lee Donaldson. Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 8 years, Christina Donaldson. Other survivors include his sons, Stephen L. Donaldson of Tallahassee, FL, and Ryan D. Donaldson of Gainesville, FL; mother Mary Pearl Donaldson of Inverness, step-son Robert R. (Melissa) Hendrickson of Belleview, FL; brother Glenn W. (Donna) Donaldson of O’fallon, MO; sister Michelle (Ed) Augustine-Fretz of Floral City, FL; granddaughter Katelynn; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n
A Funeral Service of Rememberance is scheduled for Saturday, 11:00 A.M. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home with Crematory, Inverness, FL, with Pastor Tom Beaverson officiating. The family will be receiving friends at the funeral home one hour prior to service.<\/p>\n\n\n
