Loaring, 79, of Hernando, Fla. passed away Feb. 2, 2015 at Citrus Hills Health &amp; Rehab Center.\u00a0 Joan was born in Oakdale, Nebraska to the late Fred and Minnie (Kamrath) Smith and moved to this area in 1980.\u00a0 She was a retired bookkeeper and enjoyed sewing, knitting, crocheting and putting together jigsaw puzzles.\u00a0 She was also an artist.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include her husband of 56 years, William E. Loaring; 2 daughters Tammy Hodges of Summerset, SD; JoAnn Nalley Crystal River, FL; her brother, Donald Smith of Cincinnati, OH; 2 sisters, Mildred Peterson of Nebraska and Evelyn Gardner, Cincinnati, OH; 7 grandchildren; Jennifer Kellsy of Colorado Springs, CO; Katie Johnston of Summerset, SD; Tiffney Harper of Elkview, WV; Rachel Clendenin of Clendenin, WV&#8217; Deanna Collins of Parkersburg, WV; Jessie Nalley of Inverness, FL; Samantha Nalley of \u00a0Rico, CO; Great-grandchildren; Patrick Kellsy, Ethan Kellsy; Jack Loaring&#8217; Caleb Clendenin, Jazmine Clendenin; Damien Michael, Reagan Michael.\u00a0 Her brother Norman predeceased her.<\/p>\n<p>A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. from Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness, FL.\u00a0 Entombment will follow at a later date in Florida National Cemetery.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Joan E.
