Kirkey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>KENNETH &#8220;KEN&#8221; KIRKEY, age 80, of Inverness, FL passed away April 15, 2013 at his residence. Ken was born on April 27, 1932 in Mt. Pleasant, MI. He was a retired pipefitter. Over his lifetime, Ken built several homes for himself and his family.<\/p>\n<p>Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 42 years, Loraine Kirkey; his children, Tamara Irvin, CO, Laura (John) Bryll, CA, Jill (Jim) Spoelman, Kevin (Denise) Virtue, Scott (Shannon) Virtue, all of Fruitport, MI; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; Brother-in-Law Gerald (Kathy) Lundquist, FL; Sister-in-Law Helga Kirkey, MI and Daughter-in-Law Stacy LaNore, MI. He was preceded in death by his sons Daniel Kirkey and Darren Kirkey.<\/p>\n<p>Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home is in charge of private arrangements. There will be a service held later in Michigan. The family requests remembrance donations to Hospice of Citrus County, P.O.
