Mason, 73, of Inverness, Florida passed away Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at Arbor Trail Rehab &amp; Nursing in Inverness. He was born on June 28, 1939 in Portland, Maine to the late George R. and Virginia (Moore) Mason.<\/p>\n<p>Michael was a police officer and a US Army veteran. He arrived in this area thirty-one years ago, coming from Miami, Florida. He was a Protestant, and loved wild animals and nature, enjoyed motorcycles, racing, and loved his family.<\/p>\n<p>Survivors include his loving wife of fifty years, Barbara Mason; two daughters, Linda (Jason) Rein of Miami; and Sharon (George) Karkarashvili of Citrus Springs, Florida; and three grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Private cremation arrangements under the care of Chas.
