Jordan"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>David Paul Jordan, 55, of Hernando, FL passed away peacefully on April 4th, 2014 after succumbing to injuries sustained in a car accident on March 26, 2014. He is survived by his wife, Sue Jordan; daughters Amanda Denson (Brandon) and Bethany Jordan; grandchildren Hannah, Jordan, Jacob and Emma Grace Denson. His constant companion, his beloved dog Otis; One brother, Mark Jordan (Bonnie) and sisters Eileen Floerke, Kathy Timberlake (Cole), and Pat Williams (Rick). He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Suzanne Jordan.<\/p>\n<p>David was born on Nov. 2,1958 and was raised on a farm in Dunedin, FL before moving to Citrus County. He married his High School sweetheart and fathered two beautiful daughters. David cared deeply for his family, taking care of his elderly father, Bill Jordan and his step-mother Peggy Jordan, when their health began fail. He was an extremely hard worker, putting in over 30 years as a vital member of the Deltona Corporation. David worked hard but knew how to enjoy life as well. He found pleasure in the mountains as well as on the water but his passions were spending quality time with his grandchildren and racing. When not indulging in his favorite pastimes, David was always in motion. There was never a project left unfinished. He truly was a special man. He was taken too soon and will be deeply missed by many.<\/p>\n<p>A Celebration of Life will be offered Friday, 2:00 PM at the Chas E Davis Funeral Home with Mr. Byron Henbest officiating. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
