Harrell, Sr."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>JOSEPH N. HARRELL, SR., age 86, Inverness, died March 18, 2014 at Citrus Memorial Hospital. A native Floridian, Joe was born in Tampa on May 29, 1927 to the late Sewell and Effie (O&#8217;Hara) Harrell. He served our country in the United States Navy. Joe was a fireman in the Tampa Fire Department for many years. He enjoyed fishing and working in his yard. Left to treasure his memory is his wife of 63 years, Irene &#8220;Patty&#8221; Harrell; his son Joseph N. &#8220;Nolan&#8221; Harrell, Jr. and his wife Esther, Brooksville, FL; his daughter Pamela Harrell, Inverness; his sister Milbrey Oakleaf, Hudson, FL; grandchildren Chip and Laura and great-grandchildren Shelbi and Alexis. The family invites friends to join them for visitation on Sunday, March 23, 2014 from 4-6 PM at Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home. Funeral tribute will be held on Monday, March 24, 2014 at 1:00 PM with burial following at the Florida National Cemetery with military honors. Memorial donations in Joe&#8217;s memory are requested to the American Cancer Society, Citrus County Unit, P.O.
