He was born on January 23, 1955, in San Diego, CA to the late Donald and Mary (Cox) Lauderbaugh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He proudly served our country in the U.S. Marine Corps. He married the love of his life, Joanna, on May 15, 1981, and they shared 37 years together before her death on April 3, 2019. He was a cable splicer for Century Link. Joseph and his wife moved from Tampa, FL to Citrus County in 1988.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Those left to cherish his memory are his children: Joseph Dwayne Lauderbaugh of Inverness, FL; Carol Lynn Tumlinson of Bellview, FL; brother, Donald Jon Cox of Lakeland, FL: sisters: Janet Diane Hanks of Lakeland, FL; Judy Michelle Carlton of Parrish, FL; 4 grandchildren; and his loving companion, Rose.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Funeral Service of Remembrance will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at 1:00PM, with Bishop Doug Alexander officiating, at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home, Inverness, Florida. Friends my call on the family from 11:00AM until the time of service. Joseph will be laid to rest at Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida, with full military honors on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 11:00AM. The Chas. E.
