Harriet Joyce Gall Oehlkers, of Floral City, passed away on Friday, July 3, 2026, at HCA Citrus Memorial Hospital in Inverness. She was 84.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Harriet was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, on August 29, 1941, to Carl Frederick and May (Hain) Gall.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Although she was raised in Pennsylvania, she spent most of her life in Colorado. In fact, that is where she raised her four children. Harriet met Ken Oehlkers in Boulder, Colorado, and they married on January 2, 1998. He became the love of her life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Harriet earned her Master’s Degree from Baptist Christian University. She and her sister, Phyllis, started an amazing business together in 1992 called On Wings of Eagles Christian Tours<\/em>. They loved helping people not only know Jesus, but also escorting them to Israel and Jordan to share and teach the history of Christianity. Everywhere Harriet went, she would ask, “Do you know Jesus?” She was even known to leave people a tiny Jesus doll.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Harriet was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Frederick and May (Hain) Gall; her loving husband, Ken Oehlkers; her brother, Jack Gall; and her granddaughter, Lauren Joyce Meis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters: Star Malouff and her husband, Bob, of Cane Hill, Missouri; Audrey Imfeld and her husband, Doug, of Roat\u00e1n, Honduras; and Michelle Murphy of Floral City; her son, Keith Frazier of Floral City; her sisters, Phyllis Miller of Brooksville and Carol Eickelberg of Phoenix, Arizona; her sister-in-law, Fran Gall of Fort Mill, South Carolina; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A celebration of Harriet’s life will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at First Lutheran Church, 1900 FL-44, Inverness, Florida. Family and friends are invited to attend as they celebrate a life well lived and a faith that she joyfully shared with everyone she met. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made in Harriet’s memory. Checks may be made payable to Audrey Imfeld.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Chas. E.
