She was born on January 12, 1964 in Hot Springs, AR to the late William J. and Patricia (Van Ostrand) Mitchell. Corene was a retail sales person, and arrived in this area in 2007, coming from Auburn, NY. She was Catholic by faith, and loved art, cooking, and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by 2 siblings, Timothy and Christine Mitchell. Corene is survived by her children, Cody Wood of Auburn, NY, and Beth Wood of Floral City, FL., brother William Mitchell, sisters Coleen Johnson and Melissa Mitchell; and 6 grandchildren.
