{"id":120155,"date":"2026-04-09T10:53:29","date_gmt":"2026-04-09T10:53:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/chasdavis.com\/wordpress\/?p=120155"},"modified":"2026-04-16T18:00:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-16T18:00:10","slug":"lynda-lee-morgan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/chasdavis.com\/wordpress\/2026\/04\/09\/lynda-lee-morgan\/","title":{"rendered":"Lynda Lee Morgan"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Lynda Lee Morgan was born September 10, 1945 in Pittsburgh, PA and departed this earth on April 9, 2026.&nbsp; She graduated from Penn Hills Senior High and Robert Morris Junior College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was predeceased by her loving husband of 29 years, Richard (Dick) Morgan, in 2006.\u00a0 She is survived by her brother, George Rance.\u00a0 Lynda worked for Carnegie Mellon University for 30 years as an administrative assistant in admissions.<br>Prior to moving to Florida in 2008, she and Dick traveled extensively, going to Alaska, Hawaii and out west.\u00a0 They enjoyed golfing, especially on their yearly trip to Myrtle Beach.\u00a0 Lynda loved the beach and shell hunting and walking her dog.<br>Lynda enjoyed cooking for family and friends, she was an excellent cook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After moving to Florida in 2008, Lynda enjoyed the beach, bowling and learned to kayak with her friends. Lynda loved her dogs.\u00a0 She grew up with Boston Terriers.\u00a0 Her other dog companions through the years were English Springer Spaniels, Maggie, Mandy and Misty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Celebration of Life is scheduled for Friday, April 17, 2026 at 1:00 PM from Chas. E.
