Janet Marie Foley, of Inglis, passed away on Sunday, April 5, 2026 in Hernando at The Grove Health and Rehab. She was 93 years of age. Janet was born in West Carthage, New York. Her birth mom passed away when Janet was very young, so she was raised by her dad and his second wife, Lloyd Wilson Irvin and Lee Irvin.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Janet worked lots of different jobs when she was younger. Once she met and married the love of her life, Ronald Foley, they owned and operated upholstery businesses together as well as others. Janet and Ron moved away from New York to escape the cold weather, so they settled in North Carolina for 11 years and South Carolina for 4 years. They eventually decided that was not far south enough, so they made the move to Florida in April of 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Janet was preceded in death by not only her parents and her brother, Lloyd, but also her children; Craig, Luella, and Rhonda. Those left to cherish her memory are her devoted husband of 62 years, Ron Foley of Inglis; her daughters, Jolene Foley of Inverness and Patti Knowlton of Glens Falls, New York; nine grandchildren, Blane, Justin, Craig, Darren, Dana, Joel, Renee, Phillip and Kilee; many great grandchildren; her sister, Nancy and many nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
