He was born in Queens, NY on October 19, 1950 to the late Robert and Helen (Lorenz) Malpica, Sr. Robert was a convenience store supervisor, and arrived in this area in 1987, coming from Long Island, NY. He was a volunteer Inverness fireman for 15 years. Robert enjoyed fishing, music, repairing computers, but most of all, spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by one brother, Raymond Malpica. He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara Malpica. Other survivors include his children Robert Malpica of San Antonio, TX, and Robyn Radke of Bay Port, MN.; brothers Charles, Bruce and Roger Malpica; sisters Christina Hixon and Diane Raughter; and 5 grandchildren: Owen 22, Zach 22, Josh 20, Olivia 18, and Tina 14. \u201cWe will love and miss you always\u2026until we meet again.\u201d Private cremation arrangements by Chas.
