He was born in Plant City, FL on March 11, 1953.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Flash met and began dating his future wife Lucy in 1978, and they married in 1984. Throughout his life, he had a love for muscle cars, drag racing, and a good home-cooked meal. Flash was hard-working and dedicated to his family. He never met a stranger and left a lasting impact on everyone he met. Until his passing he maintained his sense of humor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 41 years, Lucy; his children, Susan (Dale) Robinson, Cathy (Bob) Brennan, and Charlie (Stacey) Sapp; 10 grandchildren; Tyler, Allen, Madison, Noah, Jeremiah, Liam, Makayla, Rylan, Michael and Alexis; 1 great grandchild, Kintley; 2 brothers, Johnny and David.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We find comfort in knowing that Flash\u2019s legacy lives on through the lessons he taught us, the love he shared, and the memories we will cherish forever.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Gary\u2019s life will be celebrated in Inverness, FL in March 2026 at a date to be determined.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Gary Allen Sapp, affectionately known as \u201cFlash,\u201d passed away peacefully in his home on January 16, 2026 surrounded by his wife, children, and loved ones.
