O&#8217;Connor, 80, of Hernando, FL, passed away on September 30, 2025 at Sugarmill Manor in Homosassa, FL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She was born in Brewster, NY, on June 17, 1945 to the late Eugene and Edith (McDonnell) O&#8217;Connor and pre-deceased by her brother Gene O&#8217;Connor. Carol was a loving wife and mother and was very devoted to her family. She had many gifts including hair stylist, florist, artist and interior decorator, sharing her gifts with family, friends and the community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carol relocated to the Inverness area in 2002 and attended Our Lady of Fatima Catholic Church for many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Carol is survived by her loving husband of 24 years, John O&#8217;Connor. She is also survived by her sister, Linda Smith; her children, Larry (Janet) Mandras of Georgia, Melinda (Rod) Delsin of Georgia; grandchildren, Lindsay Delsin, Courtney Moore, Jessi Delsin, Cole Mandras and Callie Mandras as well as great-grandchild, Delsin Moore.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A Catholic Service of Remembrance for Carol is scheduled for Saturday October 4, 11:00 a.m. at the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home in Inverness. Carol will be laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Inverness, after the service.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Carol A.
