On August 11, 2025 Louis Moscarello, age 84, passed away peacefully at his home in Beverly Hills, FL.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lou was born in Brooklyn, NY and grew up on Long Island, NY. He graduated from New York University with a bachelor’s degree and worked as a biochemist followed by a distinguished career in the US Navy including 2 years in Okinawa. He later spent many years with the US State Dept. He served in many foreign outposts including Burma where he met his future wife, Ma Kyin. They married and settled down in Florida keeping up with his sister’s growing family and his wife’s extended family in Burma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He is survived by his wife Ma Kyin Moscarello, his step-daughter SeWah Htoo, his sister Mary O’Brien (Edward), nieces Kathryn (Bill) Kuennen, Christina (Joe) Raczka, Jennifer (Jesse) Kessler and Laura O’Brien. He is also survived by 7 grand nieces and nephews. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was predeceased by his parents Yolanda and Joseph Moscarello. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Louis was a devoted husband and a loving son. He will be dearly missed by all of his family until meeting again. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Donations to the American Cancer Society in Louis’ memory are appreciated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
