Born on October 1, 1975, in Columbus, Ohio, he was the son of the late Earle Lewis Roix and Nancy Lee Hilliard Roix.<br><br>Kenny, affectionately known as \u201cK-Dawg,\u201d was a man full of passion, curiosity, and heart. A true lover of coffee, he was known to go through 8 to 15 pots a day\u2014always with a cup in hand and a story to tell. His talents were many: a retired sous-chef with a love for cooking, a gifted photographer with an eye for life\u2019s beauty, and a skilled DJ who could put on a show for his neighbors who became dear friends. Kenny could bring any room to life with his favorite genre of music. Kenny had an insatiable desire to learn and a determination that defied expectations\u2014if something typically took three years to master, he\u2019d do it in two.<br><br>He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and unwavering dedication to those he held dear. Kenny was an honorary member of the \u201cWolfpack\u201d and he cherished his church family at Real Life Christian Church.<br><br>He is survived by his devoted wife of 21 years, Amanda; his mother, Nancy Roix; sister, Gina Leann Wright (Jason); Aunt, Cindy Allen; cousins Nikki (John) Adkins and Frank Elias; special friends Jay and Ali Jenkins, a host of additional beloved cousins, extended family members and friends who will miss him deeply.<br><br>He was preceded in death by his father, Earle Lewis Roix; grandmother, Nancy Plagenberg; Aunt, Peggi<br><br>A celebration of Kenny\u2019s life will be held on Wednesday, July 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Real Life Christian Church, located at 50 Three Sisters Springs Blvd., Crystal River, FL. Pastor Fred Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.<br><br>Arrangements are under the care of Chas. E.
