Wessel, age 82, Inverness, Fl passed away December 23, 2022 at Citrus Memorial Hospital.&nbsp; Ms. Wessel was born in Easton, PA on July 2, 1940 to the late Frank Smith and Arlene Mumbower Smith, she came here in 1990 from Mt. Clemens, MI.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She was a retired home health nurse and was employed by the Marion Community Health Service.&nbsp; Later, she worked with the Senior\u2019s Home Companion Agency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">She was a 32 year member of the First United Methodist Church of Inverness and the United Women of Faith Sunshine Circle.&nbsp; She sang in the choir and was a faithful member of the church\u2019s intercessory prayer group, the pastor\u2019s bible study group, and the disciples Sunday school class.&nbsp; In earlier years, she served on the Habitat For Humanity Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ms. Wessel had no children and had out lived other family members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A Celebration of Life is scheduled from the Chas. E. Davis Funeral Home of Inverness on Friday, January 6, 2023, at 11:00AM, with The Rev. Mike Kramer pastor of the Inverness First United Methodist Church officiating.&nbsp; Burial will follow at Hills of Rest Cemetery, Floral City.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nancy J.
