Marjorie Jackson passed away peacefully at her daughter\u2019s home in Crystal River on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 surrounded by loved ones. She was born November 7, 1926 in Trenton, NJ. She and her family moved to Citrus County in 1960 from Miami. Everyone knew and loved her. Marjorie was the head cashier at Inverness Kash N Karry for many years, and her late husband Joe owned and operated Jackson\u2019s Shoe Repair in downtown Inverness. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She enjoyed being with her family, cooking large family dinners, going on family vacations and eating out and shopping with her great granddaughter Chloe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Most of all she loved Jesus. Sundays, for more than fifteen years, found her at Gulf to Lake Church where she served as a Greeter as well as cooking for youth group activities and anything else where she was needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Marjorie was preceded in death by her beloved husband Joe Jackson; her son Gary Jackson, her great grandson Kyle Jackson; her brothers Elwood, Danny, Donald, and Robert Danley; and her sister Carole Zoellner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Those left to cherish her memory are her loving daughter Carole Moss (Jim) of Crystal River; son Tommy Jackson (Barb) of Inverness; son-in-law Bob Rogers; sister Shirley Culbreth of Hernando; grandchildren Thomas Jackson (Brooke), Jennifer Ouellette (Eric), Marianne Wood, Kenny Jackson (Heidi), and Gary Jackson (Shanna); great grandchildren Chloe Ouellette, Lila Ouellette, Jensen Ouellette, Thomas Aaron Jackson, Jaylin Jackson, Andrew Jackson (Patricia), Carson Wood, Aaron Wood, Noah Jackson, Christian Jackson, and Seraiah Jackson; and two great-great grandchildren Lyle Jackson and Finlee Marjorie McKinley and numerous nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Celebration of Life services will be held at Gulf to Lake Church on November 6 at 10AM.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
