William George Tessier \u201cBill\u201d, of Beverly Hills, passed away at his home on Saturday, February 22, 2025. He was 87. Bill was born in Bridgeport, CT to William and Anna (Blais) Tessier. He served proudly and honorably in the United States Navy for 2.5 years and spent 4 years in the Reserve. Bill met Patricia A. Purcell, and they married in November 1959. He owned and operated his own landscaping company for about 40 years with his children, until he retired and moved to Florida with his wife. Bill and Patsy have been in Citrus County for about 21 years, having moved here from Connecticut. He was of the Catholic faith, having been a parishioner and regular attendee of St. Scholastica, until he could just no longer physically attend. However, they still watched mass on the television every Sunday. Bill loved the outdoors his whole life and spent time fishing, golfing, hunting, gardening, taking road trips, and playing Bingo at the Lion\u2019s Club and Our Lady of Fatima. He also thoroughly loved the race track! Bill was a compassionate family man, who will be greatly missed by all of his family and all the wonderful people he got to call his friends. He was preceded in death by his daughter Tricia Tessier just a few years ago. Those who are left to cherish Bill\u2019s memory are his loving wife of 65 years Patsy Tessier of Beverly Hills; his sons William G. Tessier, III and Joseph Tessier, both of Connecticut; his brothers Ed Tessier of Florida and Connecticut, Fred Tessier of Connecticut, Frank Tessier of New Hampshire, and Donnie Tessier of Chicago; his sister Anna Skopp of Connecticut; four grandsons: Michael D\u2019Amico, William G. Tessier IV, Nicholas Tessier, and Ryan Tessier; and a plethora of nieces and nephews. The family will hold a celebration of Bill\u2019s life at his residence in Florida as well as a family ceremony back in Connecticut. Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas. E.
