Perone"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Joan E. Perone, of Inverness, passed away at her home on Sunday, February 9, 2025. She was 90 (and a half!). \u201cJoni\u201d was born in Grandy, Minnesota to George and Edna (Dahlin) Larson, one of six children. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a young adult Joni obtained her cosmetology license. She \u00a0met and married her former husband then\u00a0 worked for a little while as a hairdresser. \u00a0Once they started their own family, she put aside her comb and scissors, and became a full time homemaker. She took great pride in her job as a caregiver to her family. Once all of her children were grown and one son opened up a bakery, Joni worked in that bakery for years. She was also a wonderful and talented seamstress. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Joni was preceded in death by her son Mike Perone, and her brother Bobby Larson. Those left to cherish her memory are her other children Ponce (Trina), Jim, Brenda, Lili, and Nicci; her surviving siblings Del, Russy, Jimmy, and Sharon; her grandchildren and great grandchildren. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Private cremation arrangements are under the care of Chas.
